![]() What most have figured out is that VR headsets are not yet able to reproduce the quality Aerofly is capable of - I suspect as hardware evolves to include a wider field of view, denser pixels and better eye point focus, the enjoyment of AFS2 will undoubteldy come more to fruition - an important point is that the Aerofly graphics engine can keep up - I question whether the already taxed platforms like P3D and X-Plane are up to that. Not that I don't enjoy X-Plane VR, it works, and will likely continue to evolve but you are still working with a sim that grew out of the landclass and 2D world so for me it just doesn't feel as natural. Couple this with an incredibly realistic sense of dimension and perspective and I assert Aerofly is class leading. I like the physics of the aircraft and in my opinion this is even more discernable in VR as I can sense the real dynamic nuances better. In regards to VR, I personally think Aerofly is unmatched - it is so insanely smooth and scenery remains clear to the horizon. Features such as ATC, new scenery DLC, a helicopter, and continued evolution of aircraft systems seem to be on the radar at present (I follow IPACS forums regularly). Unless there is a surprise release, weather and moving cars in Aerofly don't appear to be current priorities for development, though you are correct IPACS has confirmed the current clouds are a placeholder.
